Your day with the AED Leadership Academy and the Disney Institute will leave a lasting mark on you, your story, and your legacy as Mike combines dynamic lecture with group exercises, and behind-the-scenes field experiences at the theme park.

Our course will comprise the defining of leadership, the development of "cast" and the culture of excellence; achieving quality service and the customer experience; innovation, and measuring success.

Disney leaders across the globe continue to emulate the inspirational style of one man – Walt Disney. Walt effectively demonstrated that the actions of one leader, multiplied by the actions of many, can re-shape a culture and an organization. We will venture inside the Disney organization to examine and apply this time-tested approach to leading by example within your own organization.

By consistently demonstrating the behaviors it values, Disney leaders speak volumes about the methods the company values – methods that its teams learn to follow.

As a leader in your company, you are telling a story about what you value. The Disney Institute will show us that leading by example is a storyline that delivers tangible results: improved behavior and increased productivity.

The takeaways will be both plenty and powerful:
  • Adapt proven Disney leadership strategies and best practices to your organization.
  • Develop and communicate your leadership vision. Establish and maintain effective systems and structures to meet goals.
  • Apply the strategies Disney leaders use to foster individual responsibility across the organization.
  • Inspire commitment and leadership development in others.
  • Implement your own action plan to align your vision, goals and continued development.
