Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy complimentary transportation from the Orlando International Airport to Disney's Boardwalk Inn.
Join your Academy colleagues for a cocktail reception at the picturesque outdoor Sea Breeze Point gazebo by the lake, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Then take a walk along the boardwalk to enjoy dinner with friends at one of the nearby restaurants.
Program: 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m., including breakfast and lunch
Evening: Reception and Dinner 6:30 to 10 p.m.
The day begins with a continental breakfast served in our conference room.
Over the course of eight hours, facilitator Mike Reardon will teach and demonstrate the D.I. Chain of Excellence, core competencies of leadership that are not only played out each day throughout the Walt Disney Company but are adopted by leading organizations around the globe.
Your day with the AED Leadership Academy and the Disney Institute will leave a lasting mark on you, your story, and your legacy as Mike combines dynamic lecture with group exercises, and behind-the-scenes field experiences at the theme park.

Your AED hosts Ben Yates, Kim Phelan will lead a recap exercise to reinforce and the previous day's lessons.
A brief overview of the many tools and resources available through your association, "AED 101" comes next, with a special presentation of AED in Washington and your role in one of the most effective grassroots-driven Government Affairs advocacy programs in the nation's capital.
Jeff Lefebvre, President of PriSim, will show us show us the methodology used to determine the life time value of a customer and demonstrate how "moments of truth" can maximize these valuations. Furthermore, Jeff will demonstrate why dynamic leaders chose to focus more closely on relationships than transactions.
The morning crescendo is the keynote address delivered by 20-year equipment industry veteran Dave Griffith, chairman of Modern Group and now executive director of Episcopal Community Services, a charitable social services agency in Philadelphia.
Dave is a professional speaker who teaches and delivers special addresses at Rutgers School of Engineering and The Wharton School. We proudly present Dave and "The Leadership Paradox."
